Blue Chip Casino to open new poker room

The Blue Chip Casino Hotel in Indiana started this week the construction of a new poker room, which is due to open in a few weeks. The room will feature eight gaming tables and a variety of games like Seven Card Stud, Omaha High-Low and the popular Texas Hold’em.

The Irish Poker Championship

The Irish Poker Championship finals will take place as of January 4th 2007 and will consist of a three-day event. The Citywest hotel in Dublin will host the championship, which is expected to have a first prize of €200,000 and a prize pool of €500,000.
