Last September 27th was the chosen day for the inauguration of the UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic in a spectacular live event held at the Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino. The event guarantees a prize of $1 Million to the player who comes in first place.

For this year, the tournament expects a field of more than 750 players, including Poker stars like Phil Hellmuth and Hollywood celebrities like Don Cheadle. Other outstanding players like Mark “P0ker H0” Kroon, Annie Duke, Shawn Rice, Tiffany Michelle, Ciff “JohnnyBax” Josephy, among others, have already won their seat or registered for the event.

The Aruba Poker Classic started September 27th with a no-limit hold’em and will end on October 4 with a no-limit hold’em main event final table and a banquet - awards ceremony included - on the same night in the paradisiacal surrounding of the Caribbean island.

Last year, Travis “TravestyFund” Rice was crowned as the winner and took home the $800,000 prize. Past winners of this event include Devon Miller, Freddy Deeb, Eric Brenes, Erick Lindgren and Juha Helppi.
