The third annual Poker Run for Relay will be held Saturday to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.

The Salisbury chapter of the Harley Owner's Group (HOG), Piedmont Breast Cancer and Tilley's Harley-Davidson Shop Inc. are sponsoring the run, held in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Tilley's at 1509 E. Innes St. with the last bike out scheduled for noon. Maps and tally sheets will be provided at the meeting site.

The ride includes five stops in Rowan County, during which riders will draw one card from a standard 52-card deck and then check off the card on the tally sheet.

Entry fee is $15 per hand or two hands for $25. Checks can be made payable to Rowan County Relay for Life, American Cancer Society. All entries will be included in a drawing for a $500 prize and other door prizes. Proceeds go to Rowan County Relay for Life.

The best hand of the day receives $300. The second-best hand wins $150, and $50 will be awarded for the worst hand.
